Assault weapons are legal

On Monday September 13th Assault Weapons became lawful for the first time in ten years. The weapons which become lawful contain AK-47s, Oozies, short barrel rifle and other automatic weaponry. This un-ban of the weapons make it easier for offenders to get their hands on automatic weapons and cause more damage immediately and suddenly than before. The bill which made these weapons prohibited was backed by more than 64% of the population to be renewed nevertheless congress and the president failed to even touch the problem. The assault weapons ban was put in place to stop criminals from getting these weapons, although it wasn’t full proof it was proved to be beneficial in cutting down on offenses which contained assault weapons. Days before the weapons became lawful Al Qaeda released another video telling its members to visit america and purchase the assault weapons when they become lawful.
